The Ghost Train - by Arnold Ridley
This classic drama was written by Arnold Ridley, forever remembered as Private Godfrey in Dad's Army. The play has never gone out of fashion, and it's not hard to see why. A precocious young man accidentally strands six passengers at a small Cornish train station. Despite the pyschic stationmaster's weird stories of a ghost train, they decide to stay the night in the waiting room. Soon they regret this decision as ghostly and not so ghostly apparitions materialize, before the young man reveals the true reason behind the night's events.
The Ghost Train will be performed at the Swan Theatre, Yeovil from 4th to 7th June 2025.
Tickets are £12 each, or 2 for £20 on opening night - Wednesday 4th June - and are available now from www.civicplayersyeovil.com, or by calling the box office on 07593 539 593.
